FIELD: butter industry; engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition, to use and a method for reducing the number of cases of premature ignition of a mixture at low rpm in an internal combustion engine with supercharging. Lubricating oil composition contains: more than 50 wt % of base oil selected from group consisting of base oil of I group, base oil of II group, base oil of III group, base oil of IV group, base oil V group and mixtures thereof; from 0.3 to 15 wt % of overbased calcium-containing detergent with total alkaline value of 225 to 400 mg of KOH/g, as measured by ASTM D-2896 method, and from 0.2 to 15 wt % of low-basic/neutral calcium-containing detergent with total alkali number of 45 to 175 mg KOH/g, by the method according to ASTM D-2896, wherein total amount of calcium from the overbased calcium-containing and low-basic/neutral calcium-containing detergent additive ranges from more than 1100 ppm by weight to less than 2400 ppm by weight relative to total weight of lubricating oil composition; total amount of calcium from the overbased calcium detergent additive ranges from 900 to 1800 ppm by weight relative to the total weight of the lubricating oil composition; and ratio of calcium in ppm by weight, provided in lubricating oil composition from low-basic/neutral calcium-containing detergent, to amount of calcium in ppm by weight, provided in the lubricating oil composition from the overbased calcium detergent additive, ranges from 0.08 to 0.4.

EFFECT: disclosed are lubricants with a calcium-containing detergent and use thereof to reduce premature ignition of the mixture at low rpm.
