FIELD: butter industry; engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a lubricating oil composition, use and method of providing an acceptable number of cases of premature ignition of a mixture at low rpm in internal combustion engine using lubricating oil composition. Composition contains: more than 50 wt % of base oil selected from group consisting of base oil of I group, base oil of II group, base oil of III group, base oil of IV group, base oil V of the group and their mixture, based on the total weight of the lubricating oil composition; and an additive composition comprising: a detergent additive of overbased calcium sulphonate, detergent base of the overbased calcium phenolate or a mixture thereof with a total alkaline value of more than 225 to 400 mg KOH/g, as measured by the method according to ASTM D-2896, and one or more dialkyl-dithiophosphate zinc compounds, where said one or more dialkyldithiophosphate zinc compounds are caused by molar ratio of secondary alcohol to primary alcohol, equal to 20:100 to 100:0, and have average total carbon content from more than 10 to 15 moles of carbon atoms per mole of phosphorus, said lubricating oil composition containing overbased calcium-containing detergent in amount, sufficient to provide from more than 1100 ppm by weight to less than 1800 ppm by weight of calcium in the lubricating oil composition, and at least 0.01 wt zinc dialkildithiophosphate, where said values are given in terms of total weight of lubricating oil composition; and said lubricating oil composition contains 0.085 wt % or less of phosphorus relative to total weight of lubricating oil composition or said lubricating oil composition contains amount of oil-soluble molybdenum compound, sufficient to provide content of molybdenum from 5 ppm to 300 ppm in the lubricating oil composition relative to the total weight of the lubricating oil composition.
EFFECT: disclosed are lubricants with zinc dialkyldithiophosphate and their use in supercharged internal combustion engines.
