FIELD: nuclear physics and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear power plant. Nuclear power plant comprises main housing with reactor compartment, reactors accommodated therein, machine room with turbines, special housing, main process, engineering and auxiliary facilities. Station is made in single construction volume in form of closed layout, wherein main housing with reactor compartment is arranged in its central part, special housing adjoins the main housing on one side, on the other side in a separately located building there is a machine compartment with turbines and process communications and is connected to the main housing. At that, reactors in reactor compartment are closed by at least two additional protection circuits, and coating of reactor compartment is made in form of double circuit of protection against internal man-made and external actions. Around the reactor compartment along its perimeter there is an outer protective shell in the form of a spatial honeycomb structure for protection against external influences.
EFFECT: technical result is protection of nuclear power plant against external impact effects, in particular from high-speed impact actions, as well as reduced probability of development of potentially dangerous emergency processes associated with output of combustible gas and its localization in closed premises of facility.
