FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traction drive of diesel locomotives. Diesel locomotive traction electric drive comprises two traction inductive motor mounted on either locomotive frame, note here that motors drive said drives via cardan shafts to standard axial reduction gearboxes or axles of diesel locomotive wheelsets. In this case, wheel pair is driven by single-stage cylindrical reduction gear. Each of the traction inductive motor induction motors consists of a stator, a rotor, bearing shields with bearings and a sensor panel. Stator represents a welded structure consisting of a stator core and two shells welded at ends, at the poles of the stator core there installed are coils combined in several phases, phase coils of the stator are insulated between each other and have no frontal intersections. Rotor consists of shaft and pressed steel sheets, measuring ring and thrust rings, to ensure effective use of cooling air flow, slots of rotor core at both ends are closed by non-magnetic disks simultaneously being pressure washers.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of locomotive.
