FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: tillage implement comprises a frame functionally supporting soil cultivation tools, and a soil monitoring system containing control and measuring equipment, functionally supported by a frame and configured to determine soil criteria before, after or before and after tillage with soil cultivation tools. Determined soil criteria are at least one of surface residue criteria, soil lump size criteria and soil friability criteria. Criteria of residuals on surface represent percentage ratio of soil covered with stubble residues. With respect to determination of soil friability criteria, the monitoring system is located on the frame after the soil has been previously treated with soil cultivating tools. Seed drill control method based on the soil criteria applied to the card by the soil cultivating implement includes the stage whereat the sowing machine operation is regulated on the basis of the constructed soil criteria map. At seed drill control, soil monitoring system interacts with GPS module, and soil monitoring system applies soil criteria to map in accordance with GPS coordinates.

EFFECT: possibility of monitoring characteristics and criteria of soil during soil tillage operations for adjustment of soil cultivation tools on the move for improvement of condition of soil and preparation of seed bed.
