FIELD: charging stations for vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: charging system for electric vehicles comprises a computing device having a processor and a storage device. Computing device is programmed to initiate electric charging of first vehicle when first vehicle is locked on charging station and to provide access to the second vehicle, blocked at the charging station, while the first vehicle is being charged. At that, providing access to the second vehicle includes the fact that the computing device sends a signal to the charging station, instructing the charging station to unlock the second vehicle from the charging station when the first vehicle is locked at the charging station. Charging station and method of charging station operation are also disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of available territories for electric vehicles.
