FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a colour image forming device, which uses an electrophotographic system, which fixes, as a fixed image, non-attached toner image from object image information, which is formed on and transferred on a platinum material (recording material, transfer material, printing paper) at the stage of the image forming process using the intermediate transfer system or the direct transfer system. Disclosed group of inventions includes versions of image forming devices comprising an image forming section which is capable of forming an image on a recording material using images from a developer from a plurality of colours, including a first colour and a second colour. Image forming section includes: an element carrying a first image corresponding to a first colour, an element carrying a second image corresponding to a second colour, first light emitting unit which irradiates light with a first image bearing element and which forms a latent electrostatic image, a second light-emitting unit which irradiates light with a second image-bearing element and which forms a latent electrostatic image, a first developing element which supplies the developer to a latent electrostatic image formed on the first image bearing member, and a second developing member which supplies the developer to the latent electrostatic image formed on the second image bearing element, wherein the image forming portion operates in a wide colour gamma mode, increasing ability of developer supply to the element carrying the second image in order to exceed capacity of developer supply to bearing element of the first image, and average size of particles of developer of the first colour is less than average size of particles of developer of the second colour.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of efficient transfer of larger amount of developer, in comparison with usual conditions, on the recording material and in reducing the colour difference and the difference in the quality of the image between the intended colour, to which a wide colour gamut is applied, and an unadulterated colour, to which the wide colour gamma mode is not applied.
