SUBSTANCE: feeder for filling filter material in vertical filter includes frame on which inclined tray and conical hopper is installed, diaphragm installed with possibility to shut off flow of filtering material. Conical hopper is installed above inclined chute, is made with angles exceeding angle of natural slope of filtering material fractions, and is equipped on top with replaceable grating with cells, which do not pass filtering material fraction more than required for layer of vertical filter loading. Diaphragm is installed in the lower part of the hopper in the form of a detachable damper, which is made in the form of a grid passing the granules of the filtering material fractions, the dimensions of which are less than required for the vertical filter loading layer.

EFFECT: invention ensures feed of granules of filtration material in bunker of required value.
