FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises a pneumatic-hydraulic drive and a wireless position monitor functionally connected to the pneumatic-hydraulic drive. Wireless position monitor has a built-in spool valve with an open center and is configured to be connected to a remote workstation via a wireless network and a wireless gateway. At least one switching relay is functionally connected to a pneumatic-hydraulic drive and a wireless position monitor. After wireless command is received from remote workstation, wireless position monitor sends pressure signal from slide valve with open center to at least one switching relay to control high-pressure supply to pneumatic-hydraulic drive and to move valve into preset position.
EFFECT: disclosed is a system of a pneumatic-hydraulic drive for use with a valve in a natural gas pipeline.
