SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making sound- and/or heat-insulating element using foamed and/or pre-foamed polymer particles, as well as to sound- and heat-insulating element. Foamed and/or pre-foamed polymer particles are coated with non-hydrophilic polymer binder and then subjected to molding, in which polymer particles are glued and sintered with each other, wherein by means of binder.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain sound- and/or heat-insulating element having good sound insulation coefficient and having insignificant water-absorbing capacity.
