SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a method of manufacturing a multi-layer molded article for the thermal insulation of buildings, a multilayer molded article obtained by this method and its use. Method for manufacturing a multilayer molded article for the thermal insulation of buildings includes forming a layer of foamable or pre-expanded polymer particles that are at least partially coated with an organic binder, a compound in a mold for conducting a final foaming process with at least one plate of expanded or extruded polystyrene rigid foam, wherein a stable bonding of the foamed or pre-expanded polymer particles to the plate is provided by an organic binder. Multi-layer molded article for the thermal insulation of buildings includes at least one layer (2) of expanded and/or extruded polystyrene rigid foam, connected to additional layer (1), which includes bound by means of an organic binder material, expanded polymer particles (4), additional layer (1) comprising hollow volume (5) remaining between polymer particles (4), which forms a continuous permeable hollow space.
EFFECT: simplification of the method for manufacturing a multilayer molded article for the thermal insulation of buildings, the possibility of using the molded article as a drain plate.
