FIELD: control of movement of satellites.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to retention of satellite orbit parameters (particularly, geostationary) within preset limits. Satellite comprises north and south electric thrust engines, as well as east and west low-thrust chemical engines. On-board satellite orbit control device provides required duration of pulses of switching on of certain electric motors near descending and ascending nodes of orbit and displacement of sections of their connection relative to these units. Chemical engines are also switched on at other points of the orbit. This allows, in particular, to provide a given value and orientation of the eccentricity vector subject to perturbations from solar pressure.
EFFECT: technical result is aimed at higher efficiency of satellite orbital maneuvering, in particular, on fuel economy for maneuvers.
