FIELD: chemistry; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a foam modifier, for example, used for gypsum or cement suspensions. Foam modifier contains a fatty alcohol which is added to a gypsum or cement suspension containing a foaming agent, such as a surfactant, which is alkyl sulphate. In some embodiments the fatty alcohol may be C6-C16 fatty alcohol. Use of such a foam modifier can be used, for example, to stabilize foam, reduce losses of foaming agent, improving adjustment of the size of voids in the end product and improving the production process of the gypsum board. Invention also relates to a method of producing a cemented plate. Invention is developed in dependent claims.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of weight of plate.
