FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and is intended for use in repair and assembly of rod well pump. Applicable at RWP assembly site for wells of separate-separate operation. Device for mechanical cleaning of inner cavity of rod well pump includes hollow cylindrical body, front and back cuffs with cleaning brushes installed on body, and magnetic belt fixed on body. On one side the body is connected to external centering spring-loaded rollers arranged uniformly along its length and perimeter. On the other side, the housing is equipped with a sprayer with nozzles made uniformly along the perimeter and directed to walls of the internal cavity of the pump cylinder. Housing is made with possibility of connection with hollow pusher for air injection into nozzles through housing. Magnetic belt is installed between front collar and nozzles. Each collar with cleaning brushes is made in the form of two or more segments and is made with possibility of installation and fixation outside the body in the appropriate seat by means of front and rear lock mechanisms. Centering rollers are made from polyamide material. Cleaning brushes are made from polyamide fibers.

EFFECT: improved manufacturability and quality of cleaning, simplified design, possibility to be used at different standard sizes of RWP cylinder.
