FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecology and can be used for monitoring of ecological state of water bodies. Method consists in that in water object temperature and oxygen sensors are installed, water temperature is measured, as well as concentration of dissolved oxygen, by the value of which according to table of solubility of oxygen "equilibrium" temperature corresponding to 100 % saturation of water with oxygen of measured concentration is determined. Then value of deviation of entropy from its equilibrium state is calculated on the basis of temperature ratio. Range of entropy states of the water system is divided into 5 classes, where the state within the limits of entropy deviations (-0.123)–0.062 characterizes the ecosystem safe state, 0.063–0.124 – safe; 0.125–0.187 – satisfactory; 0.188–0.249 – unfavorable; 0.250–0.312 is extremely unfavorable. Estimation of ecological state is determined by membership of the obtained value of entropy deviation to corresponding class.
EFFECT: higher accuracy, objectivity and efficiency of evaluation.
