SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tunnel-type wind turbine. Tunnel-type wind turbine with horizontal axis of rotor rotation includes diffuser (1) in form of rotation body, which wall has, in axial section, the shape of convex-concave aviation profile, wherein its sock (17) is directed to incoming air, and which rests on turbine stand by means of set (6) of bearings of vertical rotation axis on turbine mast to provide orientation of turbine in direction of wind, and rotor (2) with blades (7) rotating in plane of neck (Rt) of diffuser (1), and lower ends of blades are connected to hub (3) installed coaxially with diffuser (1) and having contour, consistent with aerodynamic profile of nacelle (4), which is connected by ribs (5) with diffuser (1). Lower ends of blades (7) are located at some distance from surface of hub (3) at distance of lower gap (z2), size of which is determined by height of connectors (8) installed on lower ends of blades (7) and on hub (3), sizes of upper gap (z1) between upper ends of blades (7) and surface of neck (Rt) and lower gap (z2) have sizes in range of 0.5–15 % of neck radius (Rt), preferably 3–8 %.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing resistance of air flow passing through wind turbine.
