FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical traction systems. Electric drive of vehicle comprises traction asynchronous motor with rotor, output shaft of which is connected to reduction gear made in the form of belt transmission and connected with wheel axis. At the same time the electric drive is equipped with at least one additional traction asynchronous electric motor with its one-package rotor rotating relative to its one-package stator and having direct drive to the wheel axle of the vehicle. At that, the output shaft of the rotor of the additional asynchronous motor is connected through the above belt transmission to the output shaft of the rotor of the first traction induction motor. Both asynchronous traction motors are made in the form of a module.
EFFECT: technical result consists in achieving high torque in a wide range of vehicle speeds while optimizing power parameters of the drive.
