FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of ammunition, a universal housing, suitable for use in field tests associated with the study of fuel-air explosion action of ammunition, operating on the principle of fuel-air explosion creation, and specifically for prototyping warhead (WH) of fuel-air explosive (FAE) during full-scale stationary testing. Universal body for prototyping WH FAE includes hollow cylinder for filling with fuel-air explosion mixture, which is outer shell of housing, bottom, cover, connected with cylinder, with hole in center, intended for installation of detonating device. Bottom and cover have larger thickness than cylinder sidewall thickness. Housing additionally comprises inner hollow cylinder for arrangement of standard central explosive charge with diameter equal to diameter of hole in cover, located coaxially inside outer cylinder from upper level of cover to bottom and sealed with resilient fastening-clamping ring. Cover is additionally equipped with a bead, along the circumference of the end side of the cover there is a slot. Body additionally contains a plastic plug inserted into the cover hole and a fastening plate located on top of the cover with boards with crests on their ends for connection to the cover in the slot. In the center of the fastening-pressure ring, the plastic plug and the fastening plate there are coaxial holes for installation of the detonating device. Diameter of the hole in the fastening-pressure ring is less than the diameter of the detonating device. Outer and inner cylinders are made integral with bottom.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of universal housing, suitable for prototyping of WH FAE of various types and simulation of process of fuel-air explosion in natural experiments at stationary explosion, providing possibility of initiation of mockup of model both from above, and from below, safe in handling, simple in manufacturing.
