FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma-thermal and plasma-chemical processing of materials and relates to direct-flow steam generator for plasma system. Direct-flow steam generator comprises an inlet for supply of non-condensed gas and water, as well as an electric heating steam-generating pipe connecting them in the form of a coil. Damping device is provided for damping of pulsations occurring in steam generating pipe. To ensure effective elimination of pulsations and condensations, as well as better controllability of processes during generation of superheated steam in steam generator and its input into plasmatron according to invention, it is provided that steam generating pipe has water heating section (15), evaporation section (16) and section (17) of overheating, and the damping means has first damper (18) which is connected between the water heating portion (15) and evaporation section (16) and second damper (19), which is connected between evaporation section (16) and overheating portion (17), wherein said dampers (18, 19) provide structural separation of said sections (15, 16, 17) of steam generating pipe, which have independent supply of electric power. Invention also relates to a plasma system with such a steam generator and a method of generating steam using such a steam generator.
EFFECT: effective elimination of pulsations and condensations, as well as better controllability of processes during generation of superheated steam in the steam generator and its input into the plasmatron.
