FIELD: energy production, possibly electrode devices for generating steam. SUBSTANCE: housing of steam generator is used as second electrode; said housing has in upper portion narrowed part with diameter less than that of upper edge of housing. Under narrowed part housing is enlarged in flow direction. Horizontal electrically conducting pins are provided in narrowed part of housing along its perimeter and on surface of central electrode. Said pins are directed mutually opposite in such a way that pins of housing are placed between pins of central electrode. On central electrode under horizontal pins there are also electrically conducting additional pins diverging fan-like along enlarged part of housing. Enlarged part of housing is in the form Laval's nozzle. EFFECT: improved design allowing to intensify steam generation process due to change of interelectrode space. 6 cl, 2 dwg
