FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: flow meter comprises a main part of a flow meter, having a passage passing through it, and an outer surface having a curvilinear portion, a converter unit, connected to said main part of flow meter, casing located on said outer surface of said main part of flow meter and closing said converter, wherein said casing comprises a pair of first and second casing elements, each casing element comprising a pair of ends and a pair of edges, a fastener, arranged between one end of each of said first and second casing elements and configured to contract said first and second casing members to each other, and a cable channel formed by said outer surface of said flow meter main part and said first and second casing elements.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of design of casing of ultrasonic flow meter, made with possibility of complete closing and protection of converters and cables.
