FIELD: ultrasonic flowmeters design.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of ultrasonic flowmeters and can, in particular, be applied to measure the gas flow rate in main gas pipelines. The ultrasonic flowmeter contains a tubular body (1) designed for integration into a gas pipeline. Sensors (3) are mounted in through channels (2) made in the wall of the body (1). On the body (1) there is an electronics unit connected by cables (5) with sensors (3), and a casing of two side flaps (6) designed to protect the sensors (3) and cables (5). Each flap (6) is fixed to the body (1) with the possibility of its rotation around the common axis of a pair of coaxial threaded fasteners (10), parallel to the longitudinal axis (9) of the body (1). Coaxial holes (11) for fastening elements (10) are made in the lower part of the end walls (8) of each flap (6). The body (1) is equipped with lower brackets (13), in which the counter holes (12) are made.
EFFECT: invention provides access to the sensors and cables connecting the sensors to the electronics unit without dismantling the protective casing flaps from the tubular body of the flow meter and, as a result, increases the convenience and simplification of maintenance of the flowmeter.
