FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adjustment of electric conductivity of conversion coating. In the method, the metal surface is first treated with a conversion/passivation solution which contains 10–500 mg/l of Zr in a complex form, calculated in the form of a metal, and optionally contains at least one organosilane and/or at least one product of its hydrolysis and/or at least one product of its condensation in the range of concentrations from 5 to 200 mg/l, calculated in the form of Si, with provision of corresponding thin-film coating formation on metal surface. After that, the coated metal surface is optionally dried and treated with an aqueous composition in form of a solution for treatment after rinsing, which contains 20–225 mg/l of molybdenum ions.
EFFECT: providing optimal control of electric conductivity of conversion coating on metal surface for subsequent coating, applied by electrodeposition.
