PUMP UNIT FOR SIMULTANEOUS SEPARATE OPERATION OF TWO FORMATIONS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E21B43/14 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry, namely to pumping units for simultaneous separate operation of two well formations. Pump unit includes flow column, cable, upper ESP, upper input module, lower pump unit including lower ESP, lower input module, hydraulic protection and electric motor, and packer between upper input module and lower ESP separating upper and lower formations. On the upper ESP the casing is installed with formation of the upper annular gap. Flow channels are additionally made in the upper inlet module. Packer is made with a central hole, in which a shaft transmitting rotation from the lower ESP through the upper input module to the upper ESP passes through the lower annular gap. Upper annular gap, flow channels and lower annular gap form a hydraulic line communicating output of lower pump unit with flow column.

EFFECT: reduced metal consumption and reduced length of the pump unit, simplified assembly at the well.
