FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: rotor blade for gas turbine engine is made with possibility of rotation around axis. Blade comprises body (170) partially forming a feather having upper part (33, 330) at the radial outer end, and at least one sealing element (39). Sealing element (39) is pivotally connected to the area of said upper part (33, 330) of the blade by means of mechanical connecting link (37) such that said at least one sealing member is rotatable between a rest position and an active position. At that, said at least one sealing element (39) protrudes in radial direction from upper part (33, 330) of the blade. Said turn of said at least one sealing element is performed about an axis transverse to rotor blade rotational axis, and is limited in said active position with downstream limiter, which is so arranged that said at least one sealing element cannot turn downstream beyond radial direction to rotor blade rotational axis.

EFFECT: thus, sealing element can survive in case of excessive radial force, thus avoiding improper wear of material with which it contacts, and/or damage of sealing element itself.
