FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: power system comprises circuit (2) with working fluid medium having side (2A) of high pressure and side (2B) of low pressure and made with possibility of working fluid flowing along it. Contour (2) of working fluid medium comprises heater (7), made with possibility of circulation of working fluid medium with possibility of heat exchange between it and hot fluid medium for evaporation of working fluid medium. System further comprises series-arranged first expander (9) and second expander (11), flow-connected to the working fluid circuit and located between its high pressure side and the low pressure side. One of the expanders drives load (37), and the second expander actuates the pump or compressor (33), fluidly connected to circuit (2) of working fluid medium between its low pressure side (2B) and high pressure side (2A). Also provided is cooler (29) made with possibility to remove heat from working fluid medium on low pressure side (2B) of circuit (2) with working fluid.
EFFECT: simple, fast and convenient method of controlling intermediate pressure (id est fluid pressure at the outlet of the first expander and, respectively, at the inlet of the second expander) to provide the best efficiency of waste heat thermal energy conversion into useful mechanical or electrical energy.
