FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a multichannel audio signal from one or more audio object signals includes the following actions: for each signal of the audio object, calculating a plurality of width signals, in which correlation is eliminated, from signal of sound object by duplication of part of signal of audio object, processing several signals of width in order to generate several signals of panning, wherein each panning signal is associated with at least one channel. For each channel in the audio signal, panning signals are combined from each audio object for that channel. For each signal of the audio object, several width signals, in which correlation is eliminated, is generated by applying amplification to each of duplicated signals, in which used amplifications correspond to normal distribution.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in the sound stage quality and realism.
