FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to urology. In urethral lumen of urethra is introduced rigid ureteroscope to bladder, by which ureteral catheter Sh No. 4 is placed in bladder, then rigid ureteroscope is removed, and rigid ureteroscope is introduced again into urethra by ureteral catheter therein to a bladder. Rigid ureteroscope is used to reestablish the ureteral catheter Sh No. 4 into the urinary bladder so that the manipulations are repeated until urethra has 6–8 ureteral catheters Sh No. 4 to be fixed to the foreskin of the penis or to the frenulum. After three days after calibrating the urethra, a urethral catheter can be inserted or natural urination can be restored. Rigid ureteroscope is fixed to the camera, and it is through the camera control unit that the image is displayed on the monitor.
EFFECT: method significantly increases the probability of transurethral bladder drainage and enables to avoid traumatic urethral injury.
