DEVICE AND METHOD OF CRANKCASE DEACTIVATION OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC F01M11/06 F01M13/00

Abstract RU 2722425 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for deaeration of crankcase of internal combustion engine for vehicle by means of several deaeration channels (13, 15, 53, 67, 84), by means of which gases flowing into chamber (19) of casing (7), can again be withdrawn from crankcase (19), wherein inlet crankcase chamber (19) gas inlet openings (29, 55, 73) of said deaeration channels are arranged such that in first defined inclined position of internal combustion engine (3), first deaeration channel by its gas inlet (29) is not immersed into oil of oil bath, accumulated in oil bath (5) of internal combustion engine (3), and second deaeration channel by its gas inlet opening (29, 55, 73) is immersed into oil bath oil, wherein, in the first inclined position (3) of the internal combustion engine (3) different from the first inclined position, the first deaeration channel (13, 67) by its gas inlet (29) is immersed into the oil bath oil, and second deaeration channel by its gas inlet hole (29, 55, 73) is not immersed in oil of oil bath. According to the invention, a control device is provided by means of which the fluid medium flow through the deaerating channels, depending on the inclination of the internal combustion engine (3), can be aerohydrodynamically overlapped and opened, wherein said control device in first inclined position of internal combustion engine (3) opens first deaeration channel and covers second deaeration channel, and wherein said control device in second inclined position of internal combustion engine (3) opens second deaeration channel and covers first deaeration channel.

EFFECT: invention ensures prevention of oil input into internal combustion engine suction path, as well as increase of crankcase deaeration.
