FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a low-maintenance lead-acid storage battery, and can be used during operation of vehicles to ensure maintenance of their readiness for operation. Low-maintenance accumulator battery comprises housing with electrolyte solution, blocks of plates of positive and negative electrodes, separators arranged between plates of electrodes, housing cover with hole for filling electrolyte solution, electric leads of electrodes and a plug located on the cover, as well as an oxygen getter with a housing and a vacuum valve, hydrogen generator with heater and safety valve by maximum hydrogen pressure, connected to housing cover, at that, cover is connected to housing and plug, electric terminals are connected to cover with vacuum density and tightly with resistance to high pressure on hydrogen.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increased service life of the battery with increased storage life due to reduced self-discharge of the battery.
