The lead-acid battery contains a housing with fins on the bottom, a housing cover, an electrode block with electrical leads in the cover located on the ribs, a protective dielectric shield above the electrode block, a tube with a screw cap in the lid, and an electrolyte solution in the housing to the level above the shield, and contains a tube located from the bottom of the housing along the narrow side wall, brought out through the lid, and a screw cap of the tube.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of preparing the battery for operation until it is in full technical readiness, that is, ensuring 100% charge capacity and electrolyte density ρnom = 1.26 g/cm3, as well as increasing the efficiency of electrolyte changing operations and reducing the self-discharge rate.
