FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry, in particular to reversible fuel cells. Reversible fuel element includes positive electrode containing manganese dioxide, negative electrode containing material-accumulator of hydrogen; separator located between positive and negative electrodes and electrolyte. Each of negative and positive electrodes represent electrode for electric power generation, as well as electrode, which produces electrolysis electrolyte using electric current supplied from outside. This element is able to accumulate electric energy, supplied during reloading, by conversion of this electric energy in gas, and also capable to return gas conversion into electric energy in order to use of this electric energy.
EFFECT: creation of reversible fuel cell battery and reversible fuel cells, each of which has excellent characteristics of energy efficiency, power density and load change as per specified curve.
