FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used for a method of articular cartilage defect replacement. Defect of articular cartilage is prepared by mechanical treatment to the level of viable subchondral bone. Defect is covered with an elastic mesh implant made of polycaprolactone woven by electrospinning, the threads of which are coated with hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. Implant is supplemented with blood plasma enriched with thrombocyte growth factors. Joint is fixed in functionally favourable position. If necessary, in articular cartilage mechanical treatment, articular cartilage is detached from the subchondral bone along the defect edges to form a slot between the subchondral bone and the articular cartilage. Peripheral edges of the implant are inserted into a slot between the subchondral bone and the articular cartilage. Detachment of articular cartilage from subchondral bone along edges of defect is performed by thin raspatory at depth from 1 to 2 mm. Method involves using an implant of thickness 100 mcm. Plasma blood enriched with platelet growth factors prepared from patient's blood before operation or during operation is introduced. Joint is fixed in functionally favourable position for 1 month.

EFFECT: method provides recovery of defective articular surface to normal, capable of long-term joint function ensured by low invasiveness.
