FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing materials under action of aggressive media, particularly to determination of corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of thin-wall structural elements. Proposed device comprises disk-like case with threaded channel and central bore, test specimens arranged on both sides of said case to be fastened thereto by means of clamping rings with fasteners. In the central opening of the device two load-carrying bodies are arranged coaxially to each other, each of which consists of a ball segment and a rod with an inclined cut on its free end, with spherical segments directed to the outer side of the housing. In the threaded channel there is a screw for control of samples loading, having a conical tip located between free ends of rods. Test specimens are tightened to the body by means of an assembly pack consisting of a ring-base having a seat and a clamping ring, and are located in sockets of the ring-bases. Depth of sockets of rings-bases is less than thickness of tested samples.

EFFECT: possibility of controlling mechanical loading of deformed samples in aggressive medium with provision of sample non-slipping ability and deformation of middle surface, which enables to simulate operating conditions of loading during tests and thereby increase accuracy of determining mechanical characteristics of samples.
