FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in making high-speed cameras with mirror scanning of optical image to provide uniform scanning speed with error of not more than ±0.033 %, which is valuable when analyzing these cameras fast processes (rapid combustion, explosion, propagation of shock waves, etc. phenomena). Disclosed method of making a focal frame in cameras with mirror scanning of images involves determining a focal frame surface processing center relative to the mirror rotation center, which is part of the camera structure, to form a focal surface in the form of a cylinder and subsequent evaluation of the nonlinearity of the scanning speed of the recorded images by determining the divergence of the scanning radii along the edges of the focal frame when comparing the projection of the cylindrical surface of the focal frame with the graphic limacon of Pascal having the same scanning radii. Combining, to the maximum degree, the projection of the cylindrical surface with the graphic limacon of Pascal, finding a focal frame surface processing center which is shifted relative to the mirror rotation center, after which a focal frame is made from the found shifted center to ensure uniformity of scanning speed of the recorded images within the frame.

EFFECT: reduced error of measurement results due to compensation of nonlinearity of scanning speed within frame (working angle of mirror rotation).
