FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of high-speed photography and relates to the method of inputting optical radiation into a high-speed photochronographic recorder (HSPR) for application of time marks. Method includes insertion of optical modulated radiation into the optical system of the HSPR. Radiation input is carried out using a plane-parallel plate (PP) with a mirror reflecting surface, which is placed between an intermediate image of the analysed object, created by the input HSPR lens, and the output lens such that the geometric centre of the PP is on the optical axis of the HSPR, and the angle of inclination of the PP to the optical axis is equal to 45°. Distance between the time marks and the trace left by the unfocused image of the modulated optical radiation source on the sensitive surface of the photodetector is controlled by selecting the thickness of the PP.
EFFECT: technical result consists in exclusion of measurement error of quantitative distribution of radiation energy on image of analysed object.
