FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drug-free methods of neurorehabilitation, and can be used for recovering brain functions in patients with various neuropsychic disorders. Patient's psychophysiological examination is performed, including recording of brain signals by its EEG. Cerebral structures corresponding to the affected function are established. Then electrodes are installed and cerebral activity is registered in places of localization of cerebral structures corresponding to affected function. That is followed by measuring duration of current oscillation of cerebral signals. Then for these durations of current vibrations of the brain, the sensory stimuli corresponding to them are generated and exposed to the patient. That is followed by measuring the duration of the next cerebral signal fluctuation. Next sensory stimulus is formed in accordance with the duration of the next current vibration of the brain signal. Patient is exposed to the next generated sensory stimulus corresponding to the duration of the next current oscillation of the brain signal, successively to the previous sensory stimulus, with no time intervals between these actions. Average duration of the sensory stimulation procedure is 15–20 minutes. Course of recovering brain functions involves average of 10–15 procedures depending on the patient's condition.
EFFECT: method provides wider range of technical means used for effective recovery of impaired brain functions by stimulating the corresponding sensory stimuli of those brain structures whose activity has been affected.
