FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and is intended for generation of electric power from free stream flow of water in rivers. A river electric generator for small depths contains cylindrical turret 1 with support 2 at the bottom, a casing of power part 3 on top of turret 1 with possibility of turning, lever 5 of casing 3 connected to casing 3 through horizontal axis 6. On the axle of the other end of lever 5 there is a float in the form of a truck with keel 8 and balloons 9 of toroidal shape with blades 10. Balloons 9 are located at ends of axles of rotation. Other ends of semi-axles are connected with rear axle reduction gear with differential. Reduction shaft is located inside power lever 5 and connected with generator 14 located on lever 5 axis.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of a device allowing free and efficient production of damless energy intake of unstable water flow at shallow depth.
