FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, to vascular surgery. Complex multispiral computed tomography of the abdominal aorta is performed. That is followed by first conducting a non-contrast examination and detecting a thrombotic haemorrhage. That is followed by a two-phase contrast enhancement with a bolus introduction of the contrast preparation and detecting the presence of dissection, ulceration and aortic aneurism thrombus, daughter aneurysm. If observing a haemorrhage into a thrombus, a surgical intervention is performed in an emergency. If observing local dissection or daughter aneurysms or a combination thereof, as well as in detecting ulceration of walls and a thrombus in an aneurysm, a surgical intervention is performed for a time interval of 2 days to 1 month. At the same time immediately after the surgical intervention, a disaggregant therapy is carried out, including: acetylsalicylic acid - 100 mg - once a day; clopidogrel 75 mg - once day for 4 months, then lifelong monotherapy - acetylsalicylic acid - 100 mg - once a day. In the absence of pathological changes of the walls of the small aneurysm and if observing the thrombus, its state without ulceration and haemorrhage, the dynamic observation is prescribed every 6 months, wherein prescribing the drug therapy, which is used as acetylsalicylic acid 100 mg once a day for the whole observation period.

EFFECT: method enables optimizing the management of patients with aneurysms, preventing the development of severe complications and improving the quality of life of the patients.
