FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic hammer. Hammer comprises cylindrical case, working tool with shank, tube, striker with through axial channel to pass tube, dividing cavity of cylindrical housing into working stroke chamber and idle stroke chamber on the side of working tool. Striker has rod and piston parts. Rod part of striker is formed in cross section by ellipse, major axis of which is equal to diameter of striker piston part. On side surface of piston part of striker there is drain channel-groove. Bypass channel of the striker is made in form of two opposite curvilinear crescent-shaped flat-channel formed on rod part of striker, and said drain channel-groove made on striker piston part, which provide constant communication of chambers of working and idle strokes to each other, as a result of which coaxiality and stability of mutual position of cylindrical housing is provided, striker and tube passing through axial through channel in striker, and specific air flow is reduced.
EFFECT: pneumatic hammer device is proposed.
