FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and can be used in controlling parameters of microwave circuits for various purposes, including microwave channels of transmitters. Device for controlling power and VSWR of microwave channels of transmitters has two series-connected directional couplers of incident and reflected waves and, accordingly, two power dividers connected by inputs to outputs of these couplers, containing UHF outputs of incident and reflected waves in order to control UHF power of high-frequency circuit of transmitter. Power dividers of incident and reflected waves are connected to two detector sections, ending with connectors of envelopes of microwave pulses of incident and reflected waves, which in order to measure their ratios are supplied to comparator and analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), where these values are converted to digital form, then transmitted to a programmable logic integrated circuit for subsequent calculation of VSWR, output of the value of the VSWR to the display and disconnection devices of the transmitter when the VSWR of the specified value is exceeded.
EFFECT: technical result is implementation of VSWR control by means of signal processing device and power control by connection of wattmeter of absorbed power to device SHF terminals, with allowance for transient attenuation of couplers.
