Technical result is achieved due to integration of import, export and verification of root certificates of the electronic signature inside the smart card, which perform operations for secure storage, updating and use of root certificates of the electronic signature.
EFFECT: technical result is providing secure storage, updating and use on a smart card of root electronic signature certificates with provision of integrated protection of root certificates of electronic signature from unauthorized use thereof, replacing and / or imposing repeated use of recalled (overdue and compromised) root certificates of an electronic signature.
