SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For surgical treatment of unclosed macular rupture after primary surgical intervention in the absence of an internal border membrane (IBM) of retina in maculorhexis, three trocars 25G or 27G are installed, staining of remaining part of IBM around the macula after primary intervention, closing the rupture, introduction of silicone into vitreal cavity. To close the rupture, three flaps of IBM are formed, which are completely detached from the base; liquid replacement is performed in the vitreal cavity for air; after that, the untwisted macular rupture is packaged with rolled grafts to retinal tissue level.

EFFECT: method provides reducing traumatisation and improving functional results of the central retinal segment, complete morphological closure of unclosed macular rupture after primary surgical intervention in the absence of an internal border membrane in the maculorhexis area.
