FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technical field of manufacturing and checking of valuable documents and concerns a valuable document with protective marking with spectrally continuously varying time of attenuation, as well as a method for identification of the latter. Valuable document with protective marking is made in the form of at least two inorganic luminescent substances, radiation spectra of which in the primary radiation region are partially superimposed, wherein the radiation spectra have a degree of overlapping of less than 80 % and more than 5 %, wherein the luminescent substances in the primary radiation region have different individual attenuation times, wherein individual luminescent substances attenuation times, relative to shorter individual attenuation time, differ from each other by more than 50 %.
EFFECT: disclosed invention provides improved protection against falsification.
