FIELD: valuable document system.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a valuable document system, a method for identifying a valuable document in a valuable document system, and a set of luminescent materials. The valuable document system includes at least the first valuable document and the second valuable document. The first valuable document has a security feature in form of a combination of at least one first and one second luminescent material of the first or second class of substances. The second valuable document has a security feature with at least one first luminescent material from the first or from the second class of substances. The security feature of the first valuable document has, compared to the security feature of the second document of value, at least a different ratio of emission intensities, a different ratio of decay periods and/or a different sum of decay periods in two adjacent spectral bands.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of security of valuable documents without the need for a significant increase in the complexity of manufacturing the sensors necessary for authentication.
