FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of carburizing carcasses of sprayers of fuel nozzles made in the form of hollow glass-like parts of stepped shape includes treatment by combined operations of thermodiffusion saturation using solid carburizing agent and cementation in gas carburizer. Gas carburizer is obtained by thermal decomposition of white spirit, and solid carburizer is represented by charcoal carburizer. Solid carburizer is supplied to internal surfaces of parts, which are required to be protected against formation of scale, and gas carburizer washes external surfaces of parts subjected to further machining.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method for cementing bodies of fuel atomizer sprayers.
