FIELD: rocketry, in particular, methods for missile control in case of an emergency in flight with the aim of enhancing the safety of objectives on the ground located in the area of probable fall of the missile or its fragments. SUBSTANCE: missile control consists in the fact that in case the controlled missile parameters reach the emergency values or in case of an emergency on the missile an emergency destruction of the missile or an emergency shut-down of the missile engines is performed. The values of the functionals of the velocity of the "time marks" of the trajectory "critical points" are introduced beforehand in the on-board computer system of the missile control system in emergency, in which the control system blocks the actuation of the emergency cyclorama for the time required for deflection of the point of fall of the emergency missile beyond the "dangerous area", after that an emergency shut-down of the engines or emergency destruction of the missile is performed. EFFECT: prevented or reduced additional material-economic loss or victims in case of an emergency on the missile in flight.
