FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: power supply system includes two storage batteries having different characteristics of charge and discharge, and is installed on a vehicle. Power supply system comprises: lead-acid accumulator battery connected to electric load; lithium-ion battery, connected to electric load in parallel with lead-acid storage battery through two electric lines, which are first line and second line; power generator, capable of charging lead-acid storage battery and lithium-ion storage battery; first switch provided on first line; second switch provided on second line; electric resistance element provided on the second line and having a resistance value greater than the resistance of the first line bundle; and control unit, made with possibility to control power generator on/off and to control on/off switching of first and second switches according to request for increase of voltage from electric load.

EFFECT: technical result is a rapid increase in the voltage of the system without disconnecting the lithium-ion battery while increasing system voltage according to the request from the electrical load.
