FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to equipment for mechanical and biological experiments, during which it is possible to perform controlled deformation of cells or embryonal tissues. Apparatus can be mounted on a microscope, has a base adapter and two coaxial microposition systems. Adapter-base is made with geometrical dimensions, providing compatibility with different microscopes with universal socket 160–110 mm. Each microposition system consists of independently controlled linear stepper actuator and linear displacement system. Latter is connected to the stock of the actuator and has two parallel rails. One carriage is mounted on each rail. Carriages are made with possibility of fastening module placement on both carriages. Replaceable fixtures for substratum for cultivation of cells and embryonal tissues are installed on the module. Plant is equipped with a printed-circuit board with connectors for connection of two linear step-by-step actuators and a cable for connection to the control unit.

EFFECT: invention provides achieving technical result consisting in improvement of quality and reliability with providing a wide range of amplitude of deformation of substrate, universality of use and manufacturability due to compact and symmetrical design, possibility of use on microscopes of various manufacturers, as well as possibility to configure units of installation, including form factor of used substrate and arranged electronic devices, for needs of specific experiment.
