SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopedics and plastic surgery. Existing wound defect is measured. On the anterior abdominal wall, the soft tissue flap on the feeding stem is marked, taking into account the size of the wound defect. Flap is separated, and the flap is stripped from the fascia. Two sheets with a separate blood supply are formed from the flap on the feeding pedicle. That is ensured by flaking of the flap, at the level of the deep fascia leaf, into two parts. One part represents a fatty tissue sheet, the other part represents a soft tissue sheet consisting of skin and subcutaneous fat. Flap sheets are alternately placed into a wound defect, wherein the bottom of the wound defect is filled with a fat tissue sheet filling the cavities and dividing the anatomical structural units.

EFFECT: method enables closing a deep wound defect of irregular relief shape with separation of functional anatomical structural units with prevention of cicatrisation between them.
